What works:
[li]system and apps[/li]
[li]sim card (sms, calling, 3g, lte not tested)[/li]
[li]adb over usb[/li]
[li]wifi[/li]
[li]bluetooth[/li]
[li]gps[/li]
[li]irblaster[/li]
What doesn’t work:
[li]camera[/li]
[li]nfc[/li]
[li]tethering over usb and wifi[/li]
Installation instruction for newbies (like I was), using Linux with Heimdall:
[li]enable developer mode and usb debugging[/li]
[li]install twrp:[/li]
[li]poweroff device[/li]
[li]press vol_down+home+power until it enters download mode.[/li]
[li]press vol_up to confirm[/li]
[li]on linux run heimdall flash --RECOVERY twrp-2.8.7.0-hlltexx-4.4.img[/li]
[li]while it downloads twrp keep pressing vol_up+home+power, so that after rebooting it goes directly to twrp. Otherwise it’ll boot to android and restore original recovery. Once you’re in twrp it’ll disable reverting to original recovery.[/li]
[li]install lineageos:[/li]
[li]put zip file on sdcard[/li]
[li]in twrp main menu select “install”[/li]
[li]select zip file[/li]
[li]swipe to confirm flash[/li]
[li]after flashing select “Wipe cache/dalvik”[/li]
[li]select “reboot system”[/li]
[li]Don’t install supersu from twrp. If you do, then lineage won’t boot. You’ll have to repeat the flashing.[/li]
[li]enjoy :)[/li]
If you want supersu, use “LineageOS 14.1 ARM32 SU” package and flash it on the device with twrp.
