An initial build of LineageOS 15 for Mi NOTE (virgo) is available to download. You can try the build.

Make sure to have a backup of the current ROM as I don’t know the status of the ROM.

If you find yourself comfortable with that guide then follow that. Just make sure to verify the complete phone for after erasing using their application.
If the application is not free, then I will not recommend to use that !!

No, you can’t install the Wilefox Swift LineageOS 15 on the Swift 2 X because there are a lot of hardware differences.

I will update the list the moment there will be a LineageOS 15 for Swift 2 X available.
Meanwhile, you can subscribe the page or you can visit the page frequently for updates.

Nope. It’s a kernel thing problem. I’m a maintainer of Quarks as well and I work on kernels. The developers of the kernel that calsurferpunk uses says the same. I’m not just a simple user. You need to go on XDA forum of Moto Maxx to look before post wrong info. 😉

It’s good to hear that you are a developer. 🙂

I am a developer (linux and FreeBSD device driver developer) by profession and hence asked you the error logs (at the first place before suggesting you anything) to find possible information of the issue, which I could not get from you !!

When you said it’s a common problem and everyone is facing this issue, then I thought it could just be the updater-script’s assert code that might be causing the issue (as it happens in most of the case) !!

Anyway, it’s good to know that you found the root cause of the issue lies in the kernel and not else where.
By the way, is it fixed or is the BUG still present ??
What exactly is the issue that is stopping the device from booting?

Thanks people! My trend plus works much better now than with original Samsung ROM 4.2.2. There is only one bug: After flashing phone keyboard doesn’t work. Solution: Download keyboard to PC and transfer it to SD card and install it on the phone. On this device you can’t use Skype version 8 or above, ’cause hardware doesn’t support new Skype (it can be installed and can start but sound is like ”screaming”. Solution: Install Skype version 7, so far it works fine! Viber works fine, latest version. Did not test Whatsapp. Video calls on Facebook messengers work fine. Enjoy!

Thanks for the short review. 🙂
It will be surely useful for other users.
