    Greetings from Taiwan.

I’ve tried this rom on my butterfly but didn’t seem to be installed properly.
It said that my device is “dlxub1” instead of “dlxj.”
I don’t quite understand the difference. Does this mean I am not able to use this ROM?
I’m keen to upgrade my butterfly to Android N so please give me a hand! Many thanks.

    Hi @j944212

This LineageOS is for the HTC J Butterfly (HTL21 or dlxj). I guess this is the Japanese variant of HTC butterfly.

You can research a bit and if you are confident that both the devices are same at least from hardware spec point of view then you can modify the updater-script inside the ROM zip package to remove the assert() code and then you can flash this ROM to your phone.

And Please DON’T FLASH if there is a hardware difference between HTC J Butterfly (dlxj) and HTC Butterfly (x920d or dlxub1)

    Greeting from Taiwan,

I follow the instruction to install Lineage OS 14.1 and meet 2 unknown command. I think the difference is my phone is not HTC J, so would you develop a version to support HTC Butterfly dlxub1?

Why didn’t you make a custom rom for HTC BUTTERFLY S too?
